Policy and Practice

If you are involved in managing volunteers, you will know that it is often hard to find the information and advice that you need.

 

The Centre has a wealth of experience and resources to help you out. If it is a question about insurance, screening your volunteers, help with recruitment or just information on best practice... we are here to help.

 

Here at Volunteer Centre Glossop we can tell you everything you need to know, from the basic principles of good practice to more complex areas such as benefits, rules or screening. We can offer support with issues such as insurance or paying expenses and provide answers to questions, such as how and where to recruit volunteers and how to take up references and deal with problems.
